For the fourth year in a row, the BBC will once again stream the Grade 1 World Pipe Band Championships live over the internet. The RSPBA confirms that the live stream will be available for all global pipers and drummers who can’t make it to Glasgow Green in August. So far, last year’s site is still up and the 2012 updates are yet to be launched, but stay tuned and set your alarm clocks on August 11. The Grade 1 qualifier is likely to start at 9:00 am GMT, which means eastern US pipers and drummers should be up for 4:00 am EST. Plan your early morning party, stock up on coffee, make sure your internet service is paid up, and block out your schedule for the day!
